Social Media
From figuring out what to post about, to figuring out when to post, social media is difficult. We’re here to help you navigate the depths of social media as well as give you tools to create posts, schedule said posts and find content that works for your brand. Additionally, within the following pages you will find content calendars for monthly and weekly post creation. These pages are meant to encourage thinking about social media before it’s time to post.
What to Post
The first step to social media navigation is knowing what to post. From blog posts, to news articles, to custom content such as Feedback Fridays, Moving Tip Mondays and Employees of the Month, learning to post on social media can be a handful.
When deciding what to post, don’t reinvent the wheel. For instance, each Monday and Friday the van line gives you posts that you can share to your page. These Moving Tip Monday and Feedback Friday posts are two guaranteed posts each week for your agency.
In addition to Moving Tip Mondays and Feedback Fridays, blog posts are great to share. The van line posts blogs across both brands. You can use these blogs as a baseline for your own blogs and posts. We encourage you to not copy the blogs verbatim, but instead use them to write your own. You are also welcome to share the blog post graphics the van line shares on a monthly basis from our social accounts.
The van line also shares a monthly reel that focuses on a variety of moving related topics. Sharing these is a great start to integrating video to your social media marketing strategy.
Beyond blogs and sharing things the van line has posted, you may also think about some of the following as subjects to post about:
-
Employee of the Month
-
Employee Spotlight(s)
-
Cleaning Measures
-
Charitable Endeavors
-
