Opportunities in the Longevity Market
In the bustling heart of the city, the annual Senior Expo was in full swing. The event, a vibrant gathering of seniors, caregivers, and service providers, was a hub of activity, offering everything from health screenings to financial advice. Among the many exhibitors, one stood out with a unique mission: a moving salesperson eager to connect with the senior community.

This story should have you as the main character. Penetrating the longevity market in your community can be daunting. Where do you start? How do you make connections with others in the industry? Attending a Senior Expo is the way to answer these questions.

The average cost to exhibit at a senior expo is between $150 to $300 for a standard booth. Keep in mind that size, location and other factors can contribute to the overall price. However, the opportunity to network at these events is well worth the price.
While many seniors attend these events, they are not your primary audience. Your true focus should be the other exhibitors. Within these rows of booths, you will find other professionals working in the senior market. At my most recent event I met a salesperson from a senior community, a member of NAPO, a law firm that focuses on elder law, a financial advisor, and a representative from the state’s Elder Care Alliance. These are the people that will fill your funnel.

Finding these events is as easy as a Google search. However, you will need to plan in advance as the exhibit space tends to sell out quickly.
