Grow Your Business with Older Adults
In 2019, the population above age 65 in the US was approximately 54.1 million people. By 2040, the Census has
projected there will be 80.8 million people in the US over 65. About 80 percent of Wheaton | Bekins moves in 2022
were from customers over the age of 50.
Something to consider is how we approach this aging demographic. With an eye toward that issue, the van line
worked with the National Association of Senior Move Managers to develop a training course meant to teach people in
positions throughout our agency partners’ businesses how to treat older adult moves in a way sure to satisfy
customers.
