Welcome to the Wheaton | Bekins brand!
Our brands are more than a logo and a set of colors. The Wheaton and Bekins brands are a personality formed over time through the perception and experiences of our customers.
Wheaton has a reputation for being friendly and knowledgeable. We know that home is where the heart is and are always happy to help move families.
Having been in business for 130 years, Bekins is known as the moving professionals. We have a long history of expertise and excellent customer service.
Whether you’re a Wheaton or Bekins agent, ensuring our customers know that we understand the stresses and complicating factors that go into picking up and moving to a new location is a critical part of creating awareness around the brand.
Throughout the last year we have welcomed many agents to each brand. Whether they are completely new to the network or have converted from Stevens or Arpin, this section will provide an excellent overview to the Wheaton & Bekins brands.
GET TO KNOW WHEATON FOUNDER,
Earnest S. Wheaton
In 1945, Earnest S. Wheaton founded our moving company, originally named Clipper Van Lines. From our very first move, we were committed to quality. Earnest S. Wheaton was constantly focused on families and the individual customer, and that focus is something the van line strives to continue to this day, nearly 80 years later.
From the van line’s tagline “We move your life” to our 20+ year corporate sponsorship of Give Kids The World Village, Wheaton World Wide Moving lives out the care for our Customers and their families that our founder, Earnest S. Wheaton, began all those years ago.
THE BEKINS STORY
As one of the oldest moving companies in the United States, Bekins Van Lines offers unrivalled expertise and a
commitment to customer service.
Founded by brothers John and Martin Bekins in 1891, Bekins began operations in Sioux City, Iowa, with just three horse-drawn vans and 12 employees. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the nation’s largest full-service moving and storage companies with more than 350 locations throughout the United States.
